“Keep Austin Cheer’d” event features local artists Me Nd Adam and others playing three nights at The Continental Club with $5 from each ticket going to Casa Marianella.

Presented by Me Nd Adam and Do512, “Keep Austin Cheer’d” began as a one-night holiday benefit concert in 2021 and has grown into a multi-night extravaganza with the goal of making a difference for local Austin non-profit, Casa Marianella that has provided shelter and support services to displaced migrants since 1986.

Founded by local group Me Nd Adam, this year’s “Keep Austin Cheer’d” is set to span three nights at The Continental Club (1315 S Congress Ave.) on December 7, 8, and 9. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. For each ticket sold, organizers will contribute $5 directly to Casa Marianella.

The retro-Austin inspired holiday event is headlined by event founders Me Nd Adam and supported by an eclectic array of local talents including TC Superstar, THEBROSFRESH, The Past Lives, Ellis Bullard, Lady Dan, Lew Apollo and Mister Davis. For the event, The Continental Club is decorated with vintage holiday decor that will remind long-time Austinites of old Austin and give newer transplants a taste of the city’s past.

“Our goal is to create Austin’s most authentic live music benefit concert of the holiday season while doing good for an important non-profit that supports our hometown community,” said Adam Walker, of Me Nd Adam. “We think it’s important to bring together musicians from across the city to make a difference in the lives of migrants and solidify “the live music capital of the world’s” reputation as a welcoming global community.”

NOTE: Tickets are $15 for advanced sales, $20 at the door. An advanced ticket is the ONLY WAY to guarantee entry. However, the 200 person capacity is fluid, and more guests will be allowed in the event as others filter out.
